The grapes (100% Melon de Bourgogne) for this cru grow on vines that are at least 50 year old on a soil which is halfway between granite and gneiss and draining. Harvest is done by hand. The wine is aged on lees for at least 24 months in the cellar before bottling. Please open the bottle at least two hours in advance and pour a taste in a glass then let the wine breathe in the bottle. Serve it really chilled at around 42 degrees. This is a wine with a distinctive character. Perfect with oysters and seafood.

Sébastien Branger is the 4th generation of Branger family. Over the years, the family has acquired a reputation for making some of the appellations best wine. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards, around 20 km south-east of Nantes, divided into several plots, which sit on the piece of land that lies between the waters of the Sèvre and the Maine rivers. 

Sébastien manages the vines with environmentally friendly priniciples. hand-harvesting, no chemical fertilizers and with yield control - classified organic. The domaine is dedicated to creating single vineyard Muscadet wines enabling the expression of each individual site in every bottle.
